Sooo. I love Ben Folds, and I recently found this song of his and fell in love with it. At first I didn't like it, but it REALLY grew on me.
So I felt the need to illustrate something for it. Usually all my attempts at song-inspired art fail, but I'm pretty proud of this.
I, personally, like the drifting of smoke into the negative space-though I'm sure some others won't C:. Nothing else seemed to fit in for it.
Another attempt at something more 'realistic'. Her teeth&gums/mouth looks wonky, I know. The hair is off too. May fix in future. I referenced a photo found on Google that I've already lost :C. At had a woman and a man screaming at each other.

I think its mostly upper lip making the mouth look strange...it's too thin maybe??
I like this though, you're getting A LOT better (which is actually hard to believe to be possible!)
